Attention FRO Passholders: Burma Trail Closure Aug 21-23-20, 2026
Dear FRO Riders,
Please be advised that the Burma Trail System will be closed to general riding beginning Friday, August 21, through Sunday, August 23 for the Down by the Burma Hare Scramble through BMER.
During the closure, Burma will be reserved exclusively for registered event participants, event staff, and authorized personnel.
Burma will reopen to regular riders on Monday, August 24 at 7:00 AM.
All other Famous Reading Outdoors trail systems will remain open for regular riding, including:
- Darkwater
- Ashland
- Tower City
- Locust Gap
Please do not attempt to enter the Burma Trail System during the closure. Follow all posted signs, barriers, and instructions from event personnel.
