I agree that all events submitted will be reviewed by Famous Reading Outdoors. Please allow 48-72 hours for review. ReadingOutdoors.com reserves the right to add/remove/edit any events submitted. Please email proof of event insurance to: kristab@readingoutdoors.com (We know that you may only purchase this sometime 2 weeks before an event so the sooner the better for you to send in)

Insurance Requirements for all Events Hosted at ReadingOutdoors.com

Comprehensive General Liability and/or a Special Event Insurance Policy (if said Event is not covered under the Event Operator’s Comprehensive General Liability Policy) with minimum amounts of liability with respect to bodily injury of five million and/100 ($5,000,000) Dollars for each person and five million and/100 ($5,000,000) Dollars for each occurrence and two million and 00/100 ($2,000,000) Dollars with respect to property damage and hazards of “premises-operations”, “special event insurance” and “independent contractors.” Given the nature of the event, Famous Reading Outdoors LLC (“FRO”) reserves the right to change the coverage limits together with making any other modifications to this general insurance requirements

The policy must name “Famous Reading Outdoors LLC”, “Reading Anthracite Company”, and all other property owners as “Additional Insured and Indemnified Party”. The policy shall provide written notice of cancellation, modification and/or amendment to all entities and/or persons identified as an Additional Insured at least thirty (30) days before such cancellation, modification, and/or amendment becomes effective.

The insurance company issuing the insurance must be licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in good standing with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the state that the insurance company was formed, incorporated, and/or organized.

The insurance policy cannot be modified in any manner that would limit and/or eliminate coverage of all events and/or activities that will be occurring at the Event.

All events and/or activities that will be occurring at the Event must be covered by said insurance.

Insurance Timeline:

- At least twenty-five (25) days prior to the start of the Event, Event Operator shall provide a copy of its entire policy to FRO at the following email address: adventures@readingoutdoors.com

- FRO will review the insurance policy within ten (10) days of receipt from the Event Operator.

- If FRO has any changes, modifications to and/or rejects the insurance policy, Event Operator agrees to make said changes and/or modifications to and/or obtain an insurance policy compliant with FRO’s requirements within seven (7) days from the date that FRO provides its written response to the Event Operator upon its review.

- No later than five (5) days prior to the start of the Event, Event Operator shall provide a certificate of insurance that meets the requirements and requests of FRO.

In the event that Event Operator fails to meet any of the timelines set forth above, FRO reserves the right to cancel the Event.
