Join us for an adventurous weekend at the FRO-Overland event from October 11th-13th! Enjoy the Darkwater event area, where you’ll find marked trails at multiple trail systems including Darkwater and St. Kierans. Whether you’re a seasoned overlander or just looking for a weekend getaway, there’s something for everyone.
Highlights:
- Camping: Enjoy the great outdoors with camping at the Darkwater event area. Set up your site and unwind on the trails.
- Food: Nicki’s Eats & Sweets all weekend long serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, along with your favorite dessert options!
- Marked Trails: Explore the marked trails at Darkwater and St. Keirans. Each trail offers unique challenges and stunning views.
- Trivia Expedition: Join us for an exciting Trivia Expedition at both Darkwater and St. Keirns with a total of 12 trivia questions spread across various locations – 6 stops within each trail system in each area. Starting points will be revealed on our Facebook page at 8 AM on Friday. At each stop, you’ll encounter a trivia question and a QR code that guides you to the next location. Complete all stops and collect your trivia answers to create a unique “shape”—correlating to a special prize! Participants can explore the expedition on both Friday and Saturday, with completed trivia cards eligible for submission on Saturday afternoon at the event area for your prize!
