DESCRIPTION:The 2025/2026 Blue Mountain Region RallyCross events will operate in accordance with the SCCA RallyCross Rules as shown on the SCCA website. Studded tires will be allowed only if snow and/or ice is present on race day. \nENTRY FEES\nRegistration Fee = $80 (Adults and Teens 16 to 17 years old) and is to be Paid on the FRO ticketing site.\nSpectator Fee = $5 (Adults & Minors) \nEntrants who are not SCCA members must purchase an SCCA Weekend Membership for an additional $15 fee. To be paid on the MSR Registration link at the bottom. https://www.motorsportreg.com/events/bmr-winter-rallycross-series-event-2-famous-reading-outdoors-fro-scca-864653 \nPurchase Tickets – BMR Winter RallyCross SeriesEVENT CHECK-IN\nCompetitors must be prepared to present their valid driver’s license\, and a valid SCCA Membership Card or proof of Weekend Membership purchased for the weekend when checking in or registering at the event venue.\nCompetitors will also need FRO’s QR code\, which they will receive after registration on their site. \nEVENT SCHEDULE – APPROXIMATE\nSuggested arrival time: 7:30-8AM\nRegistration & Tech opens at 8AM\nRegistration & Tech close at 9:10 AM\nDriver’s meeting: 9:15AM\nFirst car off: 10AM\nLunch (approx) 12:15 – 1:00PM\nFinish and cleanup: 4:00 – 5:00PM \nEVENT SAFETY\nIn general\, we ask our participants to use common sense and consider the following:\nPaddock/ grid speed limit is 10 mph\nSpinning of tires anywhere on or near the site (except on course) is grounds for immediate ejection from the event\nNo reckless driving at the event including out on course\nNo minor under the age of sixteen (16) is allowed in grid unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian\nNever turn your back on a moving vehicle\, especially when working the course\nNo horseplay involving a moving vehicle\nAll pets must be on a leash at all times; and may not be in any “hot” areas (grid/course)\nAnyone at an event who must work under their vehicle MUST have that vehicle supported by jack stands or ramps suitable for soft surfaces.\nParticipation while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will not be tolerated\nUse common sense\, this list is not exhaustive as there are too many no-no’s to list \nWAIVERS\nCompetitors\, workers\, crew and guests must sign the SCCA Liability Release Waiver and display the wrist band issued to them to indicate that the waiver has been signed. Persons participating at any level of event activity who are under the age of 18 must have the appropriate Minor Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement Forms Completed by their parent or legal guardians. Forms are available at registration. \nRUN PROCEDURE / SCHEDULE\nWe will run two sessions of competition\, a morning session and an afternoon session\, likely with course changes between sessions.\nWe will run two groups of competitors\, Group A and Group B. Groups will be comprised of complete car classes. Groups will be organized to have the same number of drivers\, or as close the same number of drivers as possible. \nDrivers will be gridded within their class in reverse order of which they registered. This means the earlier you register\, the better your starting position. \nCAR/DRIVER LIMITS\nThere will be a maximum of two drivers per car per run group.\nWe are capping entries at 60. So\, pre-register if you want to race! No exceptions. We will not except more than 60 entrants \nPENALTIES\nA two (2) second penalty will be charged for each upright cone knocked down or displaced\, including those after the finish.\nA ten (10) second penalty will be charged for missing a gate or going around an upright cone the wrong way.\nIn the case of a DNF or a jump start\, a bogey time will be awarded for that run. That bogey time will be calculated by using the slowest raw time\, per class\, per run group\, plus fifteen (15) seconds. \nSCORING\nEach driver will be scored on his/her total accumulated time for all official runs\, including penalties. \nMECHANICAL FAILURE\nOne (1) 15-minute mechanical break (referred to as a “mechanical”) may be taken per event to make necessary repairs. \nVEHICLE CLASSIFICATION\nAll national SCCA RallyCross classes will be recognized:\nSR SF SA\nPR PF PA\nMR MF MA\nUTV X\nExhibition (X) class may be used when more than 2 drivers are sharing a car and you cannot go up a class\, or if 2 drivers wish to be in opposite groups. X class cars are not scored and therefore are not eligible for season points. \nIn addition to vehicle eligibility as defined in the 2025 RallyCross rulebook\, drivers wishing to compete in a truck must demonstrate their vehicle is at least as wide as it is tall in order to be eligible. Specific trucks may be barred from competition at the discretion of the Safety Steward and/or RallyCross Chair. \nVEHICLE IDENTIFICATION / CAR NUMBERS\nA driver will choose his/her one\, two or three digit number at registration. It is highly recommended numbers be approximately 8” high and of a contrasting color. Class lettering is recommended to be approximately 4” high and also of contrasting color. \nTECHNICAL INSPECTION AND HELMETS\nEvery competition vehicle shall be inspected to verify that it is in proper working order\, and has a legible registered entrant number on each side of the car. \nHelmets must be Snell 2005 or newer (M2005 or SA2005). Loaner helmets will be available. \nLICENSE REQUIREMENTS\nA competitor must possess a valid driver’s license or driving permit and be prepared to show it at registration. Permit or restricted licenses shall be allowed as set forth by the SCCA RallyCross rules. \nCompetitors must be SCCA Members. SCCA Weekend Memberships will be available at pre-registration at a cost of $15.00 through the MSR event page. \nAGE REQUIREMENTS\nA competitor must be a minimum of 16 years old and those under 18 must have a properly executed SCCA minor waiver. \nWELCOMING ENVIRONMENT STATEMENT\nThe SCCA strives to ensure ALL participants at its events and activities enjoy a welcoming environment.
